About Founder, Brian Barca:
Born and raised in Munhall,Pennsylvania, Brian started playing baseball at age four. He played for Steel Valley High School and after graduation attended Point Park University where he played shortstop, centerfield and pitched.
He has worked extensively with Richie Smith, one of the top hitting instructors in Florida and also spent the winter of 2002-2003 playing baseball in the Dominican Republic. During his senior year of college, he worked in baseball operations for the Pittsburgh Pirates, assisting daily in the scouting and player development departments.
In addition to his baseball background, Brian worked in the education field for seven years at the Preschool through High School levels. He also studied human behavior in Los Angeles under the tutelage of Howard Fine, one of the top coaches in the entertainment industry.
Brian currently resides in Munhall, PA with his wife Sarah.
